Well done Newcastle Floorball Association!

The AFA would like to congratulate Newcastle Floorball Association on becoming the first club in Australia to have over 100 registered financial members.

Newcastle's committee and volunteers have worked tirelessly over many years to build, grow and develop the club and are a great example of what can be done when a group works together and has the best interests of the sport at heart.

The AFA will be periodically releasing overall club membership numbers (financial members only), using figures as at the end of both June and December each year. The first figures will be released in early January 2013.

Congratulations to all at Newcastle FA; great achievement, well done!

AFA Injury Notification Process

The AFA has introduced a new process for injury notification, when a member wishes to claim against AFA insurance for their injury.

The required form can be downloaded from our Policy section. This can be completed electronically and returned to us by email, it will not require printing or scanning. Once received by the AFA you will be given details as to how to proceed with your claim via our insurers.

Club representatives please make your committees aware of the process so they can assist members where necessary.

Event Notification Procedure & Insurance Information

All associations and clubs are advised that there have been revisions to the AFA Event Notification procedure, which is required if you wish to avail yourselves and your members of the cover provided by the AFAs insurance policy, or should you require an Insurance Certificate of Currency for the venues in which you play.

A revised notification form can be downloaded from our Policy page on this website. Please check the information tab on the spreadsheet before completing and returning the form as necessary.

The new process will commence with the renewal of our insurance in mid November. As always, to ensure continuing protection events notified under the expiring policy will need to be resubmitted for cover under the renewed policy.
